David Kent to Hold Leadership Roles in the Dallas Bar Association
Sedgwick Dallas counsel and civil litigator David Kent will serve as chair of the Dallas Bar Association’s Trial Skills Section and co-chair of the Judiciary Committee for 2017. Kent has previously served in other leadership positions within the Association, including serving as director and officer of both the Business Litigation Section and the Tort and Insurance Practice Section. This past fall, Kent served as co-chair of the Equal Access to Justice Campaign, which is the Dallas Bar Association’s primary fundraiser for its civil pro bono legal services programs. Under Kent’s leadership, the Campaign raised over $1 million.
The Dallas Bar Association is considered one of the top metropolitan bar associations in the United States and has more than 11,000 members. It exists to serve and support the legal profession in Dallas and to promote good relations among lawyers, the judiciary and the community.
