Dennis Raglin focuses his practice on complex litigation involving pharmaceutical and medical device product liability and California’s Proposition 65 right-to-know warnings law and green chemistry regulations.
Dennis’s product liability practice includes the counseling and defense of national and international medical device, pharmaceutical and biologic manufacturing clients in a variety of complex state and federal litigation. He has defended clients in coordinated and multi-district litigation involving regulatory and liability matters and has experience defending, resolving out of court and trying complex cases for a variety of clients in other civil litigation, including premises liability, government entity defense and contract disputes.
Dennis is the co-chair of Sedgwick’s Proposition 65 practice group and counsels and represents unique and diverse clients nationwide who do business in California and who must contend with Proposition 65 notices of violation and litigation. He helps clients develop and implement efficient programs to help minimize liability and comply with Proposition 65 to avoid litigation where possible. He has represented manufacturing, distributor and retail clients in a variety of industries, including furniture, food, dietary supplements, clothing, jewelry, home improvement products and many others. Dennis is editor of Sedgwick’s Prop 65 Update quarterly newsletter. He has also studied and written on California’s new green chemistry law known as the “Safer Consumer Products Regulations,” and counsels clients on the broad impact of the law that will eventually have a substantial reach into the marketplace.
