Dennis Raglin focuses his practice on complex litigation involving pharmaceutical and medical device product liability and California’s Proposition 65 toxic law and “green chemistry” regulations.
Mr. Raglin’s product liability practice includes the counseling and defense of national and international medical device, pharmaceutical and biologic manufacturing clients in a variety of complex state and federal litigation. He has defended clients in significant coordinated and multi-district litigation involving regulatory and liability matters. He has also defended and tried cases involving prescription pharmaceuticals and medical devices in state and federal courts. Mr. Raglin’s experience in the court room has also seen him represent a variety of clients in other civil litigation, including premises liability, government entity defense and contract disputes.
Mr. Raglin is the co-chair of Sedgwick’s Proposition 65 practice group and he provides clients with compliance counseling in understanding the complicated law and its many related regulations. He has helped clients develop and implement programs to help minimize liability and comply with Proposition 65 to avoid litigation. He also defends diverse clients sued in Proposition 65 lawsuits, including companies that make furniture, dietary supplements, clothing, jewelry, home improvement products and others. Mr. Raglin is editor of Sedgwick’s Prop 65 Update and has also studied and written on California’s new green chemistry law and regulations, and counsels clients on the broad impact of the law, which will eventually impact all companies who sell consumer products in California.
