This October, members of the Fort Lauderdale office’s Inclusion and Diversity Committee participated in its monthly mentoring session with aged-out foster children at the Fort Lauderdale Independence Training & Education Center (FLITE).  The students were engaged and the discussions were spirited and entertaining on a wide range of topics, including potential careers and the path to success.  Participants included Sedgwick attorneys Eric Lundt, Tanya Lawson, Sherylle Francis and Stella Chu.

The FLITE Center, created by the Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale, connects young adults who are aging out of foster care with resources available in the community.
