Daniel Bryer Appointed to New York City Bar Association Insurance Law Committee

Sedgwick New York Attorney Daniel Bryer has been appointed as a full member of the New York City Bar Association Insurance Law Committee. Bryer will begin serving a three-year term beginning in September 2017 and going through August 2020. Bryer also recently joined the Insurance Federation of New York (IFNY) as a member of its Emerging Leaders subgroup. 

Bryer provides advice and litigates cases involving complex insurance coverage disputes throughout the United States, focusing on property and casualty, construction, professional liability, product recall, fidelity and ERISA matters. He is an experienced commercial litigator, achieving favorable client results in insurance coverage, contract dispute, ERISA and healthcare cases.

The Insurance Law Committee covers all aspects of law affecting insurance activity and the insurance sector and provides a forum  for current insurance law topics, sponsors CLE and other public programs, comments on legislation and regulation, collaborates with other committees on projects of mutual concern, advises the Association on insurance law issues and supports public service activities. The IFNY brings leaders from every segment of the insurance industry in New York together to address problems of mutual concern, including the viability of New York as a sound economic environment for the industry.
