Alexandra “Alex” Block’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation involving product liability, specialty torts and class actions. Alex has been independently responsible for strategy and management of civil litigation, including trial preparation. Her work in personal injury has included regular court appearances including motion and status hearings in civil courts. 

Alex’s courtroom experience includes successfully arguing dispositive motions and discovery issues, handling case  management and status conferences. She conducts legal research, engages in extensive legal writing and drafts opinions on a wide range of complex civil issues. She has made regular court appearances, including motion and status hearings in civil courts. 

Alex has clerked for United States Magistrate Judge Edwin G. Torres and United States District Court Judge Federico A. Moreno, both of the United States District Court of the Southern District of Florida, Miami Division. During law school, she gained valuable experience interning for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida.
