Rachel T. Reynolds is a trial attorney whose practice focuses upon complex litigation and catastrophic personal injury defense. She has obtained favorable verdicts for her clients in state and federal matters and has conducted jury trials in Washington and California. Ms. Reynolds began her career as a deputy district attorney for one of the largest counties in the United States, where she was named a “Prosecutor of the Year.”
Affiliations, Activities and Accomplishments
Ms. Reynolds is admitted to practice in Washington and California state courts, as well as all Washington federal courts, and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. She is a member of the Washington State Bar Association Court Rules & Procedures Committee (2010), WSBA Young Lawyers Division and Litigation Section, King County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division Board of Trustees, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Legal Task Force, Washington Defense Trial Lawyers Board of Trustees, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars resulting from her service in the United States Army Intelligence Corps. While in the military, Ms. Reynolds graduated from the esteemed Defense Language Institute Arabic program, and graduated first in her class from the United States Army Intelligence School.
Ms. Reynolds is a Bellevue Youth Court attorney mentor. She counsels pro bono regularly at the King County Bar Association's Country Doctor Legal Clinic in Seattle. Ms. Reynolds has received numerous awards, including the WSBA Pro Bono Publico Service Commendation, the American Bar Association Silver Key Award, and the Balfour Scholarship. Ms. Reynolds was named “International Graduate of the Year” by Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity and was an Arthur R. Adams Fellow by the Keck Center for International Strategic Studies.
In law school, she served as Copy Editor of the Chapman Law Review, Chairperson of the Nexus Law Journal, Student Bar Association President, Women’s Law Forum President, and on the Mock Trial Board. She received CALI awards for excellence in Appellate Law, Professional Responsibility, Advanced Constitutional Law, and Advanced Civil Procedure. At Claremont McKenna College, Ms. Reynolds was a Captain of the Varsity Swimming and Diving Team and won the 2001 Conference Championship in 3 Meter Diving.
